I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Way to go, Jesse!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

'Twas. And the food was excellent - catered roast pork, chicken done I don't know how but tasty, delicious noodles, macaroni salad, musubi, rice, and salad. Nom nom nom. And all that was after the surprise birthday potluck breakfast we threw together for my boss. It was pretty clever of me, I think, to go from the more fitted dress to looser and looser muumuus as the day went on, I must say.

Our wings are not tired.

Excellent planning. A few years ago my next door neighbor gave me a couple muumuus because I had hurt my back and she wanted me to have an easier time dressing. She lived in them. Comfy for sure, but since I connect them with her I feel like an old lady when I wear them.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Grargh. I am still irritated with the adulting. And then I got home and had to talk to Aetna, so now I'm ready to burn down the world. I am doing nothing else responsible tonight, just watching GBBO.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Humana is sending a death panel doctor* to meet with Tim and review his medical status, I assume because his use of health care resources jumped so dramatically this year. It's a little weird.

*(Not really a death panel doctor, but it's funnier to call them that.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds so fun, -t.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Well crap. Just heard from my dad that his wife's cousin A passed away last night. She has been dealing with a brand of dementia and debilitation. I'm not sure of the actual diagnosis, but it has been pretty rough on the whole family for at least a couple of years (time is rough to estimate since I don't live out there anymore). When I was in SF in January, her family was telling the rest of the family that if they wanted to visit, they should come out as soon as possible. It broke my heart. But saw her at the 100th birthday party we attended in March. She was having a "good day" and I was overjoyed to see her even if she didn't quite remember me, though she was happy to babble with me.

She was such a vivacious woman, maybe in her 50s? I'm heart broken all over again. I know it is a double sided thing. On one hand, she just died, but on the other hand, she has really been gone for a long time already. Just sucks.
