OK, I think I'm committed to the costume changes. If anyone does notice I will point out that my wardrobe requires a more Hawaiian clothes friendly dress code. I have mentioned before, I think, that even my professional wardrobe but definitely my business casual stuff leans heavily towards resort wear.

Tommy, that makes perfect sense. I need to remember to tap into my anti-anxiety meds more. I've been feeling so much better mentally, that I've thought about reducing my anti-depressants. But until this election is over, I don't want to mess with the good mix of chemicals.
Remember how I stressed over having a cleaning service come once a month? They are here today and it is so nice knowing my house will be sparkling while I work on the back porch. I'm going to have to come up with a plan B once the weather cools down, for both me and Jack.
I've read that doctors are seeing more patients with anxiety these days, thanks to this election.
I'm part of a trend!
I got a refill on my anti-anxiety meds this morning from the new shrink! Trendy!
Y'all, my new shrink is adorable. Tiny woman with glasses and a pert short haircut, wearing the cutest shift dress and kitten heels, can't be older than thirty. Recent PhD, intern working with a resident (it's a teaching hospital). She was professional and objective while still being emotionally engaging. She was easy to talk to. I liked the older male resident too, he was bearded and smart and had a firm handshake. I agreed to go to therapy again, ugh; they want me to do DBT one-on-one which I know some folks here have said is a good thing, so I'll try it. I have little hope though.
That's excellent, Zen! DBT always sounds like a good idea, I'm glad you have a chance to try it. I am more glad that you like the intern and resident you're working with - I guess you don't have to like a therapist for them to do you good, but I feel like it makes a difficult process easier.
Timelies all!
Ugh. The low battery alert on the baby monitor went off at 3:15 am, so I had to get out of bed to plug it into the charger. Then I broke a tooth at breakfast. It doesn't hurt much, and I have an appointment tomorrow morning to have it looked at.
For a Wednesday, it's quite a Monday.
Oh, man, Sheryl, I'm sorry for all that! Somehow your dentist appointment reminded me I need to take the dog to the vet, though, so thanks for that.
Oof, Sheryl - not a great day!
Go you, Zen! Do the thing!
Oh, man, this episode of GBBO has them making trifles. I am yearning.
Rough start to the day, Sheryl. I hope the tooth is easily repaired.
