Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Did a little cleaning, listed some stuff on eBay, and watched an episode of ST:TOS that I didn't even remember. BBC is doing a Star Trek marathon. Also did a little work even though I said I wouldn't. Now there's a cat asleep on my feet and I might nap.

Coding and Sleeping

Napping is a good plan.

I actually watched a Doctor Who episode today. Granted I did it while going through a massive pile of papers to file, but it was still fun. Hasn't been a super productive day, I gave myself a hair cut, put away a bunch of laundry, started another load of laundry, did a couple loads of dishes, and went to the grocery store. Well, I did that filing too, and took out some garbage and recycling. I did the prep work for dinner last night, so I only have to cook it. That'll give me time to clean up the kitchen while I make dinner.

The benefit of not being super-productive is that I'm doing some writing and getting my sequel to Cog moving again. I'm enjoying that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I was feeling sorry for myself, being sick and having no one to take care of me, but there was leftover lobster bisque from yesterday's lunch, and that was strangely just what I needed.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Leftover lobster bisque? First, how did you have anything left over? And second, why don't I have any?

Though, food wise, Kelly's boyfriend is making spaghetti squash stuffed with green-chile chicken. I'm very much looking forward to the noms!!!

Meanwhile, I'm still chugging on this paper. I am not liking the first week of a class. I have no idea what the teacher is looking for, how he grades, if I'm doing too much or not enough. Plus this week has A TON of work, two written assignments (one is already submitted), 2 discussion questions, and prepping for the portfolio project which is going to be crazy huge.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Husband and I went out yesterday and split a bowl, and it was a big bowl.

I had brunch with my friend I'm staying with, and Brenda, then went to a very large craft fair, but wasn't impressed by most of the offerings. Bought a tinted lipgloss. Then hung out with my friend, if by "hung out" you mean I read a book and she worked on GRE prep. Worked for me. Now on my way to a different friend's for dinner.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I spent all day working. I really needed to spend all day sleeping, but I only spent a little bit of the day sleeping. But, I'm getting caught up on work stuff. I might even be able to get ahead on some of it tomorrow and Tuesday.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Gud sounds like a very productive day. I know I have said it before, but it sounds like you are the only one in the house that does housework: filing, dishes, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking & cook clean up.
