Timelies all!
Got the stuff out of my old, soon-to-be-ex, car. For some reason, I thought I kept my car's title in the glovebox, and had a bit of panic when it wasn't there. (It was in my desk drawer at home)
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Looks like Trump is making a comeback. I wonder if it's because Hillary coughed.
I thought the taco truck comment would be good for her numbers, but they've been dropping, and it unsettles me.

Still looking at all the experts, including Vegas odds, it looks very good for Clinton. When I hear the media talking about the neck and neck race I flee to the pollsters.
More ~ma for the Mom would be good. Back in the hospital with pneumonia again. I think medically they will fix her up again, but I don't want her to get too discouraged and just give up. Life is not a whole lot of fun for her lately. The whole not being able to breathe, or eat without choking, or walk without fear of falling thing is getting real old for her. And I want her to see a woman president! She will find development a delight.
What I saw the other day was that Clinton's numbers went down but Trump's didn't go up.
Quite a lot of people that study this stuff seem to think his ceiling is pretty fixed.
I definitely wanted to work until 8:30PM the day after a long weekend, when I've been back home for roughly 24 hours.
Good luck, sue!
I'm feeling a little out of it. Well, more than a little. My old college roommate (or possibly her husband, they have a joint Facebook acct.) replied to where I shared the Paul Krugman NYT piece about reporters raising questions about the Clinton Foundation possibly being used for quid pro quo, and none of them accepting that the answer to those questions is no. Roomie replied to the effect of "depends on the meaning of no". When we were in school together she was a history/poli-sci major. We used to have epic arguments (the fun kind) on every thing under the sun; we have yet to put to bed the debate on whether Basil Rathbone or Jeremy Brett was the better Sherlock Holmes. My instincts say Do Not Engage. I just do not have the energy. But part of me wants to reply simply "cit. needed".

I'm so resentful of this 9:00pm meeting I have tonight especially since I need to get up at 5:30am tomorrow morning to make another meeting.
ION, I took last Thursday and Friday, and today as vacation days. I have done work every day of my vacation.
I'm resentful of this on your behalf. In the last 9 years, the only vacation I've had where I didn't have to work anyway was when I was out of the country and literally couldn't access my work email. It isn't right.
The popular vote has tightened, but that's because HRC got a big bump after the DNC and Trump got negative numbers after the RNC. So it's trending back to the mean as expected.
However, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania are pretty well locked in for the Dems and Trump would have to sweep all three to have enough electoral votes. And he's not going to get them.
It won't be a landslide victory for Hillary though. Probably similar to Obama's last election.
