Coding and Sleeping

I have my quarterly job review yesterday. It was interesting. Apparently one of the reasons I now have a minion is to develop my ability to structure and assign work for others. Overall, it went great. Mostly questions about what I wanted than questions about what they wanted from me.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm taking a lot of time this weekend to get past the awfulness of the last three weeks. I'm not even trying to get updates on any legal stuff. Because while that is important, the twins are safe with my sister and Sam and that? Is what matters today.

Except it backfired. Inevitably, my dad would monopolize and the date had no chance, cause dad could do the charming like whoa.

Best stories ever.

Our wings are not tired.

Nice! Good to be appreciated.

Oh Cass, I imagine there needs to be some time to destress after this horrible experience. Relax, rest, and renew.

I am attempting to ignore all my stresses today and am enjoying all the taco jokes. A lot.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, man, Sheryl. That's enough of all that!

That's terrific, Jesse.

The maybe oats I am thinking of [link] This is also what the phrase "sow wild oats" brings to my mind.

Normally, on the last day before a holiday we can go home after 6 hours and get a full day's pay, ostensibly to avoid getting stuck in traffic. Today my boss came around and said "don't worry about the 6 hours - whenever you have everything that can't wait until next week done, go home. "

I may have to add curling up with a heating pad to my plans. Hello, communists! Long time. Seasonally appropriate, I suppose.

Good plan, Cass.

Ok, wine.

Great! That's among the best kind of reviews.

My fitbit is now held together by a rubber band. Nice things and me: unmixy things. I'm pretty good at the improvised repair, though.

OTOH, I have a nice plate of spaghetti and meatballs and more extra added giant meatballs, and a glass of cabernet, so sometimes plans work out like I, uh, plan.

This, THIS. ALL OF THIS, Gud!

And Cass, yes, self care right now is important. I'm glad they are home.

Adding to the good news - the pharmacy is filling my generic Adderall prescription RIGHT NOW. Only took 2 weeks.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

-t, you might want to contact Fitbit, depending on how old it is and the nature of the breakage. I've gotten 2 new clip/cases for mine (free), and they sent my aunt a free replacement when she lost hers. Which is to say, excellent customer service. (I mean, I'd be happier if mine would stop breaking, but until they fix that design flaw, at least they're responsive for dealing with it).

So many other things to say, but currently buried at work, so no meara.

Love you all, laters!
