Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Also like the griege, esp if it were nail polish. Actually, I like the pink and the blue for nails too.
Poised Taupe: do not like. It looks on the edge of being purply to me, which should make it better, but I don't know, kinda looks like bruised beige.
When my parents' were repainting their interiors, Mom wanted her walls to be the color of California's golden hills of wheat in early fall, late afternoon. We were unable to find that color. All of my walls are color, although the exterior "stucco" is beige (front door is red, living room orange and salmon, kitchen yellow, office green, spare room blue, bedroom purple and lavender, bathroom a greyer blue).
Rose Quartz and Serenity are more up my alley, especially the way they show them together on Pantone's website. I'm not in any rush to paint anything those colors, though. Or buy fabric or whatever.
Coworkers birthday means nacho bar and it's ice cream social day so forget my diet until tomorrow, I guess. I'm okay with that. Would rather go back to sleep (carrying 47 pounds up and down a mountain, I'm fine, bowling for two hours and I am sore and exhausted, apparently. Although Tai Chi got me to the point of not needing to limp last night, that was good)
Ice cream update: I opted for the skinny cow ice cream sandwich but then put it in a bowl and added whipped cream, chocolate syrup, crushed girl scout cookies and maraschino cherries. Because.

That's an amazing desire.
NB: Rose Quartz and Serenity are 2016 colors.
I am with your mom, -t, those golden hills have been part of my dreamscape for my whole life.
Every time I eat, I feel like I want to hurl about an hour later. I think I'm doing this wrong.
Mostly I hate it because they make you click through a (slow-loading) link to see the color the damn article's about. There's no embedding in 2017?

That was my exact reaction.

I feel this. My walls are the color of Van Gogh's wheat fields.
The world of color perplexes me, because all I know of color is what my particular eyeballs and brain tell me a color is. I have this weird dread that the world I see is not at all what the rest of the world sees. I guess Pantone provides a great service, I can find a color and have a highly specific identification number instead of, for example, searching for the color of wheat fields in early fall, late afternoon, not late summer, mid morning, dammit.
