All right, I've sent out my two things that needed to get done this week, so I guess I'm all set. My one coworker has been deep into wedding planning all afternoon, so I know it's not just me....

I remembered a good thing to do! Look at resumes and set up interviews. So I did that. Now I'm leaving.

I'm kind of amused that the anniversary card (for us buying this house) from our realtor had the wrong street address on it. The street we're on is named after a famous painter, and she wrote the name of a famous musician instead. (They both start with the same initial, so I guess she was close)

OK, so the beebs Chrome extension is awesome and now I'm watching The Chronicles of Nadiya, with last year's GBBO winner traveling and cooking. Episode 1 takes her to Bangladesh.

Damn, she's pretty. Such eyebrows, much definition.

Consuela, where do you get the extension? I'm new to Chrome (made it my default browser a couple of months ago).

Oof, so still working on this project (Giapetta's Workshop, now Portal Scope) and putting together this last presentation pitch has been pure torture. So hard to work on. Such a difficult collaboration. Three partners and everybody's stretched and stressed to capacity, freaked and frazzled and frustrated. Just tired of each other too, and ready to quit and get the fuck away from this thing.

And I pushed to have the presentation done to new eyes, so we took it to the consulting group we've been working for and had people watch the whole thing. And it worked really well.

And it looks like we're not only getting a return meeting with Marvel, but they're bringing in Disney people too. So we'll have a joint Marvel/Disney pitch.

And while I have not been paid on this for three months (or pulling-my-hair out frustration), it looks like I'm getting a bigger stake in the project because our fourth partner has done none of the work since February.

So. Fingers crossed.

Consuela, where do you get the extension?

Click on the Window menu and pull up Extensions. It'll show you the extensions you currently have loaded, and just search for Beebs. Once it's installed, you can access the BBC iPlayer straight off. It's pretty frelling brilliant.

Ugh. My stomach isn't quite feeling better. And I'm hungry, but I don't know what I want to eat. Well, maybe I want gnocchi, but I don't have gnocchi.

I find GBBO so very soothing. I'm tempted to find and illegally download other seasons, but then I might binge.

Had my birthday party tonight! It went smashingly until the last 20 minutes or so...had bunches of folks over for happy hour on my patio, then went dancing, then to karaoke! But leaving karaoke there was drama and then my one friend was all pissy and drunk and her gf was also drunk and it was just bad.
