Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

I am glad that Leverage is still new to me. I'm sad I missed it when it was on TV -- but then, we don't have cable -- but am digging the hell out of it now.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'd give a lot for another Leverage. Not--Leverage, but with scripts that good and characters that grow and bend and change. Or White Collar. I could do White Collar angst. (not a pun)

I'm tired of dirty urban badly lit back alleys and a constant gloom of despair. I loved Daredevil and Jessica Jones. I just don't want more of them. So no Arrow (Flash is on the bubble), no Legends, no Agents of Shield, no Supers. My disbelief is done un-suspended.

So no Arrow

It really is alley-tastic. I still like it, though, after 4 seasons, and I'm hoping that Ollie as mayor will make the show less alley-tastic. We'll see.

Flash is on the bubble

It needs to redeem the nonsense in the finale, I tell you what. Look at your life, Barry, look at your choices.

I find GBBO so very soothing. I'm tempted to find and illegally download other seasons, but then I might binge.

I am taking a boating safety class so I can rent a boat for my birthday, this coming weekend. And one of the options is cracking me up for some reason. "When should emergency procedures be reviewed?" and one of the possible answers is "right before an emergency, so everything is fresh" AHAHAHAHAHAH! LOVE IT. YES. PERFECT.

That's efficient as hell!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Supergirl could work for you, but actually I'd recommend iZombie.

Right? If only it worked that way... (to be fair, that was not the CORRECT answer. But it still cracked me up)

Maybe try Person of Interest. Bonus Amy Acker!

I've watched all seasons of POI. Acker, yes, plus Shahi, and Taraji Henson!

I could start a first season rewatch of classic CSI, if I could find it streaming. Or ER. I've been wanting a rewatch of that from S1. Comfort TV, I guess, like rereading favorite books. You already know what's going to happen, and can skip a chapter if it's too awful.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have liked many of the USA shows of the recent past for light entertainment. For whatever reason (and I think I was the only one) I really liked Graceland?

In work news, I've gotten heavy pressure from above to create a job for this person and I've been resistant, but she has been really impressive in phone conversations. She just stopped by my desk, and I remembered some of my resistance -- I just don't like her for some reason. Oh well.
