Husband has another in-person interview tomorrow. It's moved very fast -- they first talked to him last week, and before I could even call him to ask how the second phone interview yet, they had booked him a ticket to fly up for the third interview.
I have managed to make it through this week so far, but OH MY GOD it would be good if he could get this job. The salary is what he was making before, it's in a big city where I could get another job, they'd cover relocation, etc.
Anyway, if everyone could start directing their good vibes today, maybe we can make this happen by sheer force of will.
Let's DO THIS.
So I was writing an email about an intern who I don't know, and totally called her Siobhan when her name is Sinead. At least the person I was writing to was impressed that I could spell Siobhan? (She is also Irish.)
And now I logged into a meeting late, and everyone is speaking French, and it will be totally awkward to interrupt them.
Job`ma all your husband's way, Dana.

I work with someone named Chevonne. The spelling makes me crazy.
So far so good, Mom was feeling fine (if a bit groggy) when she got up this morning.
That's good news, Matt.
So much job~ma, Dana!
I am already having a great vacation and it isn't even my regular start time on my first day off! I think I have everything gathered up that I need to pack. Next I bring all that +the dog to my parents', go to the rare-for-me weekday morning Tai Chi practice, pick up my rental bear canister, back to mom&dad's to make trail mix and pack everything up, back home to take out the garbage, apologize to the cats & rabbit for abandoning them, make sure my bills are scheduled to be paid, etc., and then we are off. I might stick a trip to Dunkin Donuts in there, I heard one opened up over in the general vicinity of Tai Chi and I haven't had a chance to get to it yet. Mmm, vacation donut.
Glad to hear it, Matt!
