"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ick. I'm glad you have headphones.

I'm hungry, tired, and need a shower. I don't have time to deal with all those things while ltc naps. So, since I also have cramps I'm going to grab an energy bar and take a nap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a phone call and they seem to have stopped. I'm still going to listen to some music, though.

Two out of three ain't bad!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac did his school registration alone at his request. He did not ask to get into a fine art like he was supposed to, he did not sign up for the bus, AND HE SIGNED UP FOR TENNIS WITHOUT TELLING ME!

He needs a full year of a fine art to graduate, he does not need a PE. Grrrr.

Art is now full and the school has been instructed that he is NOT ALLOWED to drop out of tennis.

I have to go up to the school to do the bus sign up.

This MF kid. When will he learn that I will find out everything. The counselor and I are now buds and he is on a tight leash. No schedule changes without my consent.

That sounds very frustrating msbelle! What year is he now? (Does he LIKE tennis?)

Facebook is advertising a local neurosurgeon to me. Does FB know something I don't??

I'm willing to bet it's not like Target knowing you're pregnant, but maybe it is! (Probably the doctor is just targeting geographically.)

I can only say this here because I know it's wrong: My team member's baby turned one last weekend. Why is she still pumping?? And what is she doing in there without her computer???

brillig

And what is she doing in there without her computer???

If she's got a one-year-old, she's probably sleeping.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe! She did stop falling asleep in meetings after a couple of months back.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sometimes you gotta keep pumping after you wean. I am given to understand. Bodies being unpredictable and all.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

And weaning can happen any time - six months, a year, two years. In many cultures, up to three years.

I know, I know -- I am not actually judging her breastfeeding practices. She's just not a stellar worker, so I am generally annoyed at her and this is just one more thing. Obviously I would never say anything to her!
