I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I wish I had a yard full of cardboard instead!

The reduction in area to mow makes for a noticeably shorter time spent mowing. It's great! I think I will do some more next year, assuming all goes well with this try.

Not so great, while I was taking a break the guys who were working in my next-door neighbors yard took my yard waste bin (that I was filing with blackberry vines) and put it somewhere not on the street. My neighbors rent that house out and I guess are between tenants so there is no one there for me to ask to get it back. Sigh.

Oh, wow, look at the time. I'd better have some dinner.

Our wings are not tired.

Teppy, have a page of Buffista quotes with your ceremony notes. When tears are at hand just think bearing arms to collect yourself.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I suspect that what happened with my own wedding might happen here. When we were writing our vows and planning the ceremony, I cried like a fool. When I read our vows even now I get teary.

But the actual day, when I stepped out the door to walk down the aisle and saw Tim waiting there (who I had seen literally 30 seconds before), I was just all lit up with joy and pretty much beamed through the whole ceremony. No tears whatsoever.

So I'm hoping that when I go to perform our friends' ceremony, I'm just so happy for them (because I *so* am) that I don't lose it.

If I read the chili recipe, *that* will probably keep me from crying.

Aw. I'm sure that's how it will go.

I have eaten a corn dog and am now enjoying a grapefruit beer. I did not know what to expect, but I think I like it. I still have a ton of stuff I should do this evening to be ready for the week. We'll see how that goes.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Gud, you are a good man! I'm sorry that things are so difficult, but you are not a loser!

e.g. Donald Trump - I think that is a good way to measure it. When you think you are a loser or fuck up compare yourself with the Donald and come to your senses.

Or watch something like Bar Rescue or Border Security. When I'm torturing myself about fucking up, it does provide perspective.

I've tried to avoid the pitfalls from the last one

If you want to talk about the pitfalls, maybe we can help with strategy or coping mechanisms?

In other news, I saw Ghostbusters again today. Great life choice.

I made a peach-blueberry pie. Also a great life choice. Especially since this means I get -- wait for it! -- drum-roll please -- ratatatatatat! --

PIE FOR BREAKFAST!

Which is the greatest.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

e.g. Donald Trump - I think that is a good way to measure it. When you think you are a loser or fuck up compare yourself with the Donald and come to your senses.

I saw this idea on tumblr - It is abhorrent that the human cesspool that is Donald Trump gets to feel good about himself, but you don't, Gudanov. Think on that a bit.

Our wings are not tired.

Mmmm, I want pie for breakfast! Excellent life choice.

I am a better human than Donald Trump. Hella mantra, the downside of course bringing Trump to mind.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish I had pie for breakfast!

Oh man, that's the truth. My mother has suggested that also why I watch Intervention and Botched -- I have made some really, really good life choices.

Woke up too early, assisted by my cat, got some stuff done around the house and still made it to work before they unlocked the door at 8. Today should be amazing.
