Pokemon Go - I have no interest in going to gyms and competing, I only want to capture and or evolve all the types of pokemon.

I'm oddly more excited about getting stuff at the Pokestops than I am about catching actual Pokemon. I am definitely in the category of Doing It Wrong. (Tim doesn't understand the appeal of Pokemon Go at all, and I described it as Neko Atsume + skeeball.)

Also, my blueberry muffins are really good.

I feel the need to start competing in gyms just so I can eventually get a decently buff Pokemon at some point, but I definitely prefer just the walking, catching, and evolving aspects.

Also I am seriously burning out on some Bernie friends of mine who are just so deeply caught up in their Clinton hate and I just find it so entitled and smug and self-congratulatory. But I've made a vow with myself to no berate them because it'll only annoy them as much as they are annoying me. But ugh.

You know what? 20 yrs or so later, I'm not over cookiegate. I'm still furious anyone castigated her over that comment. Which was a response to sexist bulkshit.Fuck you and you and you. So, I decided to try the no-longer new legalities of my state, and purchased an edible. I don't want to be Maureen Dowd, cowering because I accidentally ate 18 doses, and I know one of the common....complaints?...is that people don't realize how long it takes for edibles to actually affect you. Everything said 30 min to 2 hours. ....it's been two hours and I feel nothing. Except possibly my ears need to pop.

...more reports in a while, as to whether this was actually a big waste of money (cash money, because they can't take credit cards!)

What did you buy and how much did you eat? Indica? If you don't mind sharing that is...

A cookie, which is 10mg, but I ate half because people said 5mg was a good place to start. It's been nearly 2.5 hours, should I eat the other half? ...though if it then takes 2 hours for that to work, I'll likely be asleep already

I am also wondering if this is akin to my flexeril experience, wherein one dose does juuuuust enough for me, when I take it (rarely) to take away my pain, but I feel no impairment. I gave a dose to my old roommate once, because he was having a lot of back pain, and it knocked him on his ass.

I will do half when I'm too tense to sleep and it just relaxes me enough but I don't feel impaired. 10mg, on the other hand will knock me on my ass. I haven't found that happy in-between yet.
