Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I've done all of my to-dos for the week. Not that there isn't still a ton of stuff I could be doing, but nothing urgent. So that's nice. Maybe I'll leave early.

My staff member who doesn't know how to act asked me why I was here so early this morning. It was literally no more than 15 minutes before the time I usually get here, which is early than she usually does! So how would she even know? See above re: doesn't know how to act.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I went to copy and paste msbelle's message and actual links to my FB acquaintance, and I re-read her message (look, my eyes hardly function at 7 in the morning), and it said "Tell me what you see in Hillary Clinton. I was a big Bernie Sanders supporter and I admit that I'm going to vote for Clinton because I don't like Trump, but you seem to follow politics closely, so I want to know what you see in her."

So, *that* message is a leeeetle more in my face than the way I had originally mis-remembered her message. So I am not replying, because (1) if you are voting Clinton, then bully for you, and (b) "I want to know what you see in her" really feels like code for "Meet my test of party purity," and frankly, I don't know you as more than a person I've met 3 times, and you aren't entitled to my emotional energy.

Dang, people.

Wow, I don't read it that way at all, but also I don't know the person. But I do tend to read things at face value, until/unless there is good reason to believe otherwise.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I will never email anyone voluntarily at 7.

Wow, I don't read it that way at all

It's the "I want to know what you see in her" that just hits me wrong. Plus, I fully admit that I am running on negative spoons and have been crying all day, so everything is probably hitting m weird.

hip deep in pie

Steph, you are under absolutely no obligation to answer her. You don't really know her. You don't owe her any explanation. And you don't know if she's a troll or not. Ignore it. If she comes back, then just say, sorry, got a lot going on right now.

brillig

I vote for ignoring as well. Heck, if she comes back and asks why you didn't respond, say "Oh, that was meant for me? We barely know each other, I was wondering why I got that."

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I would ignore her, unless by answering, you can stop thinking about it.

Does anyone have any ideas for things to take for lunch/dinner on day trips other than sandwiches. Keeping in mind that I get hangry easily without enough food and also don't really like green salad. Oh, and I can't eat dairy any more! And my BFF doesn't like meat and can't eat cinnamon or rosemary! This is ridiculous!! But I don't want to eat peanut butter sandwiches every day. We both like veggies at least

Celery sticks with peanut butter? I dunno.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Thanks for the reminder to pick up some celery this weekend. I've actually been craving celery with peanut butter.
