Jesses on the hard core cat drugs, don't tell her boss! (I feel like I should take this to a sexual cat/pussy place, but I will refrain. Except in how mentioning it I'm not refraining. But)
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Jesse turns her cats into rugs, pass it on.
Also, an all white production of "The Wiz" is weird, right?
Can black people have NOTHING?!?!!? Jesus!
I lasted 4 hrs at work. Got feverish and came home and slept for 4 hrs with vivid stupid nightmares. Woke up feeling fine, so who knows.
Sophia, that still might not be as bad as the all white Once On This Island my former arts camp employer did. It was with middle schoolers and the excuse was to expose them to the music/material but still.
I was in an almost all-white Once On This Island in theater camp, the summer before 8th grade. Our Papa Ge was a black girl (who, in retrospect, reminds me of ita), and the cast was diverse in other ways (several deaf actors, including both Ti Mounes, other cast members with various disabilities), but still. There was some rewriting required.
So I got the transdermal cat drugs, and promptly pushed out four doses. I think I got most of it into a ziploc bag, but too much the first try isn't the worst, right?
Probably not, because it'll metabolize.
Also, Steph and/or others - do I really need to use a glove? (I guess the alternative is getting some of the meds myself.)
You're supposed to so that you don't absorb the drug yourself. It's only really important to cover the finger that the ointment is on, so you could even use plastic wrap on just that finger. (Tim cuts the fingers off the gloves so he can use them one at a time.)
Jesse loves cat mugs, pass it on.
I am super excited: I just rented a boat for my birthday next month! It's kind of a huge splurge but what the hell right?? Now to find 9 other good friends who will be good partying on a boat together!!
I took my cats to the vet yesterday morning. Rosie had a blood draw in preparation for dental surgery when I get back from vacation :(
Gilda was just supposed to get a checkup and vaccinations and ended up with some extensive ear cleaning which has left her with the wet look all around her face. AND I'm tasked with giving her (refrigerated) ear drops twice a day and an ear wash every other day. She is NOT happy. Tonight she figured out how to pin her ears back so tight I really had trouble. The ear wash tomorrow is going to be ugly.
I feel so bad that I'm torturing her for four days then I'm going to disappear for nine days and then come back and pick it up again. I don't even want to think about combining that with post-op treatment for Rosie.

Ooh, good tip! I inherited a whole box of latex gloves from my grandmother, so I have plenty, but it seems like a waste to use a whole glove. I will use one finger!
