So glad I live in the PNW. :) my sister yesterday was like "have you ever heard of corn sweat?!?!" My first thought was something like the meat sweats but no, it's how vast fields of corn can raise the humidity??
We've got hot air combined with wildfire smoke. Thank God I went on daily asthma medication a few months ago.

I need to write a paper and I just CAN'T get started. I have everything I need, and am just not getting inspiration on how to start.
I'm putting off grocery shopping until I know my car will be in the shade when I go out to it. It will still be hot but not as bad.
And I can't do laundry until I get more quarters. So, I'm just waiting for the time to pass.
We have a fire nearby, so it's raining ash which isn't great. At all. I am so glad we are heading to Seattle on Monday.
I'm supposed to drive home from KC tomorrow but as I've spent the day in the bathroom or bed I don't know if that's happening. I am feeling more human and the chills have stopped (I was trembling for hours) but I've only had a few ounces of Gatorade so far.

The winds have shifted, so the smoke is being blown out over the salt flats, but it's still hazy. It's such fun when the entire valley smells like an ashtray and hardly anyone smokes.
