Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

OMG, in Salt Lake and I slept like utter crap last night. Not even 2 hours into the work day and I feel like I desperately need a nap. I'm terrified of nodding off during a meeting today. My "narcalepsy" (in quotes cause it is undiagnosed as yet) has been at bay lately, but today, not so much.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

It is hard for me to believe that the Trump side wanted the entire discussion this morning to be about plagiarism.

Yeah, I don't really think so either. I had a conspiracy-theory moment, and then I realized no one's really reporting on the racist sexist hate from the RNC even without the plagiarism. They don't have to distract from what's being ignored anyway.

With a side of confusion about Donald calling in for an interview during Benghazi Mom's speech.

Why the heck did he do that. No, I think he just decided to do it and did it, without any thought for anything else going on. Not to take away from how awful he is, but he really does act like he has dementia or something.

The Donald's playbook in a nutshell.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I am raising an eyebrow at reporters focusing on Melania's speech considering all the really disturbing stuff going on at the RNC. It's like blaming a parrot for using salty language while the pirate captain is boarding your ship!

I'm mostly amused by her Rickroll! Forget plagiarism, that's the best part!!

Suzi, that sucks. I'm also exhausted today but have only myself to blame--somehow it was suddenly 11:30 last night when I meant to go to sleep several hours before. Oops. My alarm got snoozed several times this morning.

It's hard to make myself go to bed at a reasonable hour. Left to myself I'll stay up until 2am. Wait, I am left to myself. I begin to see the problem.

Yeah. That's a total non-issue. Nobody will remember it in a month.

This is going to be a tight election. Demographically, there should be no way Trump wins, but somehow I think it'll be a toss-up.

In Utah, the news concentrated more on how the Roll Call Vote was a mess. I guess a Utah delegate is in a high position related to that? (I wasn't paying 100% attention, but it was on the news this morning and a headline in the paper {nothing on the front page about Melania}).

I ran to the store for a 5-Hour energy thing cause I just can't be drowsy. I'm leading these meetings and we have a ton to cover in a short period of time. So, now I'm feeling artificially awake, but I'll take it.

It as 85 degrees when I drove to the office this morning. It was 90 at 9pm last night. I thought Colorado was hot!!!

brillig

Yeah, one of our senators was the instigating force behind the Roll Call thing, and we're torn between feeling disrespected and "Hah, that senator's a jerk, let's see how he feels about being ignored and kicked around."

And yes, this temperature should hold for the next couple of weeks. Sleeping is hell.
