Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dana, that's interesting. I wondered why she didn't understand why her son was there. Was his position classified? He was a computer guy.

Holy crap, now the speaker is the mother of a Navy Seal killed in Afghanistan. What the hell, is Exploit Grieving Parents the hot new tactic on the Right?

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sure they will be in the ads too.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

There were FOUR! bereaved parents speaking tonight. SO MUCH EXPLOITATION. Manipulation. It is so uncomfortable.

Now we are in the middle of white male fragility bemoaning anyone not screaming American exceptionalism. USA USA chants being strongly encouraged over and over and over again. UGH and an interview with Scott Walker. hissssssssss.

Melania's speech was very long, but she did really well. People know she's an immigrant, right? How can she stand behind her husband when he makes the statements he makes about immigrants? How can he say those things when he's married to her?

I know I'm not the only one noticing the roomful of people who hate immigrants cheering for the Slovenian lady with the strong accent. Is she acceptable because she's white? Because she's blonde and beautiful? Or because she's married to a rich man? She won't be taking anyone's job or murdering anyone in the street, so she can stay!

brillig

She won't be taking anyone's job

Trump's previous wife may disagree.

Edit: Though they do say that immigrants do the job no one else wants to.

That time when I send the awkward text to my ex boss about her husband's officemate and coworker getting laid off while they were at a conference that she (my friend and husband's now former officemate) was supposed to go to but she gave them her spot. Uhhm.

(Really hope she's too busy touristing and family to check her phone.)

Yikes, sarameg. Good luck.

I'm done. I'm switching over to Trevor Noah. I can't take it anymore.
