Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In the elevator, I learned that Trump is making a surprise appearance at the convention. A) How is his being at the convention a surprise? B) How is it going to be a surprise if I learned about it already? C) Something else, I'm sure.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

C) So roughly 4 hours is how long he can stand not being the center of attention, give or take. Noted. Who had the over/under?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I will be visiting my parents this week. I hope my mother remembers that I won't stay in the room if Fox news is on.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My brother texted to tell me the Colorado delegates walked out of the convention when they were told they were required to support Trump. That's hard core.

Today's entry in This Is How My Body Is Breaking Down After The Age Of 45** is getting my 2 permanent crowns. They're in the far back, so they're gold. I feel so gangsta.

**(No, really, in the weeks since I've turned 45, I've gotten bifocals [which I need to pick up tomorrow], gotten 2 crowns on my chalk teeth, and started a crazy expensive antibiotic for the longest IBS flare of my life. I assume the tin ear horn is next.)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Well, this has been the Mondayist of Mondays. Gary's on a business trip, so I took the little guy to daycare, where I was asked where our collage was. Collage? I know nothing about this. The teacher says she told Gary last week, but he said nothing about it. Then I had a dentist visit for a regular checkup/cleaning. Except I needed deep cleaning in some areas. They numbed those areas, but now I have sore spots that make chewing on one side interesting.

To top it all off, since I got to work at 9:30 I had to park in the garage a few blocks from my building. Of course the pouring rain shows up when I leave work for the day, and I end up drenched by the time I get to my car. I don't even want to talk about the traffic...

Sheryl, I stand with you in dental soreness. I'm thinking about mac and cheese for dinner.
