I feel like I want to go do something. But I don't know what. And I have plans at 5 and need to grocery shop also so should really just go do that. Futless? Is that the term we use?

I'm at that point in my move where every time I stop to take a breather my knees are like NOPE NEVER MOVING AGAIN. I should take a nap but there's all this STUFF I still want to get unpacked and sorted out. The kitchen is an unspeakable mess. (Apparently our old kitchen, while smaller and not without its own issues, had much better storage than this one. Which is fine in the long run because we were planning to renovate anyway as soon as we have some money again, but in the short-term where the hell am I supposed to put all my stuff??)
Went for a morning walk in the woods with my sister, which turned into an epic, since we did a loop and at the end of the loop she discovered she'd dropped her iPhone at some point. And since I'm a good sister and she has a bum knee, I did the whole loop again, backwards, looking for the phone. So I got a good 8 miles or so of hiking in this morning. And no, we didn't find the phone, and calling it goes straight to vm, and find my phone doesn't work because there's no reception in those canyons. So she may be SOL, although I'm pretty confident someone picked it up -- it's a really busy park.
Now I have a ton of stuff to do before going on vacation on Wednesday, and no energy to do it. Feh.
The chocolate thing that you and your mom got that you posted a picture of on FB looked AMAZING.
She got a classic hot fudge sundae and I got a sea salt caramel sundae. SO GOOD.
NOM. Sounds awesome.
E and I drove around a bit today hitting Pokestops after lunch.
Well, some asshole just tried to run me over while I was in a crosswalk. That'll get your blood pumping.
Yipes, shrift! That happened to me once when I was pregnant, and I still haven't let it go.
You are a good sister, Consuela, sorry that it didn't turn up the phone.
So Frances got a bee in her bonnet that she wanted to make Japanese cheese cake, so we made this recipe. The batter was delicious, but I know I left a few lumps in it. I hope it turns out well.
Yipes, shrift. Glad they didn't succeed!
I hope it turns out well.
How could it be bad?
Er, it could be lumpy? Or we could get impatient and try to cut it before it cools and so it'll just drool all over the plate. But so far it looks pretty tasty.
