I really lose all respect for you, HR, when you forward a scaremongering internet rumor which is based off a debunked scaremongering rumor circulating the internet these past few years. It's so...awful white people shit.

I hope whoever sent that out gets their ass fired!!! (Another friend of friend posted about her HR sent out email about a planned "Day of Rage" in the city and am assuming that's what your HR sent out as well. infuriating.)

This is the only place I can ask this: is anyone else concerned that the US isn't ready for 2 women on the presidential ticket? I just read a rumor -- again -- about Warren being Clinton's VP pick, and while I personally would love it, I wonder if the US would balk at 2 women on the ticket.

But if I say that on FB I'll get crucified. So I was just wondering if anyone thinks that, too. (Again, I LOVE Elizabeth Warren, and Clinton-Warren is a goddamn dream team *for me*. But I wonder if the country is ready for that.)

For me at least it's hard to get a feel for how much of the vitriol spewed at Hillary comes from her being the first major female candidate. However, I feel like the people who would balk at Clinton/Warren probably already despise them for their politics.

I think there is some unconscious "She'll need a man to steady her" thinking going on in the minds of some people who will be willing to vote for Hillary that will get kicked if she picked Warren.

Plus, Darth Cheney and his shadow government aside, I don't think VP is the post Warren should be aiming at.

Keeping an eye on the little guy as he roams around the computer room, occasionally drooling on/blowing raspberries on/biting my leg. Ah, the joys of teething...

I'm not able to be objective about a Clinton/Warren ticket. For me it is a dream team. The excitement level, and pulling more of the youth Bernie crew would be a plus. Seeing Warren debate Pence, seriously! Yet some of the males in my world think it is too much and that the voting public isn't ready for a 2 woman ticket. Me, I am like RBG, as in her feeling that 9 is an appropriate number of women on the supreme court. Why the hell not? Hillary and Elizabeth are so much more acceptable than Donald and Mike. But I accept, not at all objective on the subject.

I think it's a valid concern, along with "maybe she'd be more powerful in the senate". I'll be super disappointed if she picks Tim Kaine or some other boring white dude though.

This is my fear. Clinton-Warren is my dream team, but I am definitely not representative of the voting public.

I honestly believe that Warren is doing a far more important and effective job in the Senate than she could ever do as a Vice-President.

That's also a big thing to consider, yeah.
