We need a Peanut update!
I'm thinking every other week-ish. This first person is from a company that we used for our move out cleaning in California. So I know they are reputable, bonded, and such. I will ask about products for sure...my asthma is under control right now and I want to keep it that way.
I keep meaning to see if I can hire my mother's cleaning person, and then not doing it. It would be super easy if she were looking for new clients!
ION, I got called for another phone screen! This one at a COMPANY. I have not worked for a for-profit company since I was in college. Mostly, I'm relieved to see I've still Got It, as far as my resume/cover letters. I didn't really apply for this job, so it's been a while.

(Includes a line about the news that Daveed was staying on past the 15th being an error).
Timelies all!
Today is the little guy's birthday! Alas, he is not in the most festive of moods, as he had his one-year checkup, and got a bunch of shots.
Also, my ancient car passed emissions. Good for another two years.
Meara, thanks for the questions. I have hired them for monthly cleaning to start with. The first cleaning is more expensive but I can cap the time, as that is done hourly while the normally cleaning is proceed by visit.
I have a cleaning service, y'all. Now I just have to get the young audit in my house to have their rooms navigable (CJ, I'm looking at you) by the 27th.
Happy birthday, little guy!
Woo clean house! It is always frantic time here the night before or early morning of cleaning day. So much stuff on every surface makes her job too complicated.
Happy birthday to the little guy! Watch out, mine got very much in motion after that one year mark.
Jesse, the link I just posted to good stuff, feel free to delete and create your own post.
Our every-other-week cleaning person comes tomorrow! We keep the house pretty tidy (except for creeping piles of books everywhere) between visits, but it's such a pleasure to have everything mopped and not just swept, polished and not just hurriedly dusted, etc.
Laura,
He's already pretty active, crawling all over the place. He's also pulling himself to a standing position and moving around while holding on to things. Walking's probably not too far off.
