My MIL hosted a birthday party for the little guy today. Even though it was just the grandparents, the little guy and us, it got a bit overwhelming. Not for him, for me. Now we have the leftover birthday cake in the freezer, and a bunch of new toys for him to ignore.(He has a bunch of toys scattered around the computer room, and what does he play with? The trash can and various cords, plugged in or not. Babies...)

Sometimes I am surprised that POC don't just smack white people, all day, every day. We can be so DUMB. (Not like I had no idea..."You're so brave," gave me some idea. As did "next time, pick better parents." HOWEVER, people that talk shit about disabilities lubricate it with phony compassion first.(Which doesn't really make it better, but you can play like you're optimistic and the compliments are sincere...)

Would any of you recognize Michael Kors if you randomly saw him? I wouldn't. It seems he was at the show last night and it made the performance report. Tommy Tune was there too, but I would recognize him.
