Okay. It sounds like Tim's dad gave Middle Brother an earful and Middle Brother has accepted that their dad is not going. Good lord.
Also -- I couldn't make this up if I tried -- the person on FB who posted asking for a "back doctor" posted again and said "I asked for recommendations for a back doctor, not a spinal specialist. Can anyone recommend a back doctor to me???"

Maybe they think they have a sprain? Like, they think it's muscular rather than nerve/spine related? I'm just spit-balling here, because the other alternative is that she's an idiot.

I got an award today! A Big Big Boss was here from HQ and so they took the opportunity to give some awards, and my boss nominated me, and so I got a coin! Which is pretty cool, even if it's not worth much in dollars.

I have no idea. I feel like a sprain would be something a primary care doctor would look at. I'm staying out of this one. (Though I am curious about the outcome.)

"Spinal specialist" or "chiropractor" would be the back doctors I would know. I have been the recipient of the "hope it works out!" access plan. Spoiler alert: Without tons of people, it doesn't, and I end up in a corner thinking I can do more at home.
Jesus, the news is just awful. That poor guy in Minnesota, I can't even fathom what his family must be going through.

Yeah. WTF kind of training are these cops getting that they shoot people when they are trying to follow instructions and reach for their ID? Why do tazers and handcuffs and tackling come before talking? How do we begin to fix this?
