Yay Dana! I hope all comes together well.
Today is my mom's 29th anniversary with my step-dad. And she had been married to dad 39 years when he passed. She said she thought she was pretty good at this marriage thing. Step-dad is absolutely nothing like my dad except for one thing, they both adored my mom.

And JFC, BPD is a hot mess of escalation and tone deafness. Showed up in riot gear to vigils. It's like Mondawin all over. It's as if they want more riots. God.
Going through the produce department at the supermarket. Two guys putting out veggies.
"So, who slept with who and who died?"
Game of Thrones fans, I surmised.
"Nobody had sex with anybody else and Jon Snow is King of the North. King of the North!!!" he exclaims, causing many shoppers to stop and stare.
His buddy blinks, then bursts out laughing.
"Yes," the second guy says, nodding, "it was that exciting."
You Game of Thrones people are everywhere.

They don't want to. And afaic, the BPD fomented the violence we saw here last year.
At 6:30 this morning, a dove marched up to me to let me know the birdfeeder was empty.
No, I wasn't dreaming. I call doves dumb, but clearly they have some cunning to 'em.
The squirrels in the local parks are used to having tourists feed them. They can get quite aggressive. One park has some white squirrels which are even more so - I was once in that park with a large cup of smoothie and one came up and perched at my toes with an expectant look.
