Woo hoo, Amy!
I kinda want Jesse's weekend.
I'm excited to see the new haircut, Lee.
My weekend consists of work tonight, community cleanup at 8 am tomorrow morning, cleaning my house (hopefully) tomorrow afternoon, a Costco run, and taking my mother out for errands and dinner on Sunday before she and my dad leave on Tuesday for Italy.
-t, if it's not too late for the sample sale, could you see if there are any large wood chopping blocks/cutting boards, and prep bowls? Thank you!
ND and I are headed to Temecula to celebrate my 10 years in California and with each other. Wine tasting and posh winery inn and yummy food. Yay!
Happy new apartment, Amy!
Some language must have a word for the desire to be home in one's own bed. I was suffering from it today. I went to get a shot, but asked the nurse practitioner about the fact that I had a procedure Tuesday and was still running a fever. She didn't see any obvious reason for concern, but decided to prescribe an antibiotic. Then I mentioned a pain in my leg, and she decided I needed an ultrasound for a blood clot. I waited until that was set up, then went upstairs to have it done. The I went back to the oncology office and was told no, there was no clot. I went back upstairs to pick up my prescription and they're out. Out of Keflex! They called and it was in stock at the Kaiser closer to me. I stopped there and then dragged my feverish body back to bed. Left home: 10:30. Returned: 3. I don't have many spoons these days, and I used them all.
Yay, I love Temecula.
Oh man, Ginger. That is rough.
Nothing can run smoothly, can it, Ginger? Oy. I hope you are in your bed now!
{{{Ginger}}} I have no idea if you can stand to be hugged right now, but I'm still gonna do it virtually.
I hope the rest of the day is less stressful.
And you guys know I left out hanging out at a nursing home and putting up shades and all the non-fun stuff, right?
I tried to register my car today. I did not succeed in registering my car. I went to the place that the website said to go to, and they said that I was at the wrong place -- for registering a car for the first time in Ohio, I have to go to a place out in the suburbs. I didn't have the patience for that, so I'm going to do it on Monday.

Let us think that at least one of us can live the life of leisure on the weekends. Be fabulous for us, Jesse! Don't ruin it with facts and stuff.
