I have a friend who sells for them. She was obnoxious for a few months but now has cooled off. Don't know if sales went down or what. I bought a couple things from them and found them to be no better than my old standby Olay, and more expensive.

At another job I was doing cold-calling for a computer company, contacting their customers to see if they happened to want to buy anything else. One store was at 666 Dead Cat Alley. I told the shopowner I thought it was a cool address, he said, "I'm sick and tired of it, I'm moving out next week."

I was pricing yet another Vegas trip, though it will be months before I do one. I don't know why I was surprised that prices in winter and spring are so much higher than high summer. I honestly said to myself, "Yes, it is hellishly hot in Vegas in the summer, but do people really go outside when they're in Vegas?" The only time I went outside was to go to the pool.
I may not be the right point of comparison. But it means cheap trips. I, at least, can face 117 degrees with, if not acceptance, than equanimity and the sense to stay in the shade.
The only unmarried men I know are college students and my BFFs brother, which would be like dating comic book guy.

ION, mac DID ALL HIS CHORES THIS WEEK BEFORE I GOT HOME!!! That means he gets weekend wifi (and I suspect he will do nothing else). BUT and this is the good news, the system seems to be working. I thought by the end of this first week he would really be up for doing more of the chores for extra time, but maybe that will come next week.
