Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm guessing no. I've never been to anything like that! But am still not sure if I want to...

Hmmm, I think I would pic beach, unless there's someone particular you want to see. But that may be because I have no car and rarely get to the beach.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My gut feeling is yes, but I am second-guessing with the thought that you missed a planned beach day recently?

Woohoo, that's the last of my antibiotics! Wine in the fridge for this evening, ibuprofen dosage cut down to OTC recommended levels. It just occurred to me last night that this not wanting to chew might be a good opportunity for a juice cleanse or some such.

I have yet to go to the beach at all! But I could go Sunday -- I'm pretty sure I'm just going by myself on the subway.

I am fascinated that Ward from Agents of SHIELD charges more for pictures and autographs than Thomas Jane. [link] I'm not especially interested in panels, and all the good ones are sold out anyway. I dunno, it just seems like An Experience.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Why on earth would anyone pay for a picture with Thomas Jane when they could get one with Stan Lee or Elvira?

That's an excellent point. I'm sure he has fans?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I would only go to cons for panels and people watching. Photo lines and autographs hold zero interest for me. NF was in Dallas this year, but no panel on a day I could go so I didn't go at all. I was conflicted.

Yeah, I don't see myself waiting in line to pay for a photo or autograph, even from Hayley Atwell!

I don't think I would like cons for that reason...I hate waiting in line and I am super cheap!

I have taken today off. I turned some stale sourdough into delicious French toast. Now my massage therapist has had a cancellation, so I am going for a much-needed massage. Everything's coming up Milhouse!

That's why I would go. Caveat - I've never been to a con, except one WorldCon but it was after hours, I just wandered through the hallways with someone who was actually attending, nothing was going on, so I have no idea how worthwhile it might be to pop in for a random day of actual panels and whatnot.

Turns out the travel hairspray I dug out of my purse was, in fact, eyeglass cleaner. No wonder it wasn't helping to keep my bangs out of my eyes! Only took me three days to figure that out. And I found the hairspray I thought I had, it was in the bathroom cabinet as would make sense.
