I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Gud, I call your attention to my current tag.

Oh no, Jesse! That's no good.

And I'm finally home. This sure felt like a very long day. And week. I should be out shoveling mulch so I would be able to soak it well before I go to bed (my address being an odd number means I can only waitron Tuesdays and Fridays) but I think I am too tired.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

A friend found a yorkie something today. no tags, no chip. she has 3 dogs and the little thing was not being friendly so I offered to take it after she tried to find the owners this afternoon. Little man is chillin in a chair in the livingroom. He did try snapping at our dog, but is ignoring the cat. I am not really looking for another pet, so I have posted on some lost ped boards on fb - the lady who found him did also. Also there is a guy at work who has a yorkie and is willing to have them meet and see if they get along. If they do and no owner is found, he will take him.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's good, msbelle.

Dad update. The postmaster came by to check on him and he had her carry his load of plants and topsoil in for him. @@ (His fall happened outside the post office.) The small towniness is killing me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love that! (Like when my grandmother's hairdresser was telling the EMTs her medical history after she fell outside the salon.)

So I guess I could try dusting anyway, what could go wrong?

Hey, Miss Kitty came out to the living room all on her own! That's a first. At least the first I've witnessed.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I went to a Chinese buffet for dinner. My fortune cookie informed me that "Before the beginning of great brilliance, there must be chaos."

Now I am ear-wormed with the theme from "Get Smart."

Brenda, I'm glad he's got that.

In a small miracle, I didn't have to go to IT to admit I forgot my pin for the rsa token vpn authentication. I finally got it right. Which is good because I'll be working from home (next door) starting Monday until I can trust my cats to not get up in contractor's business in manners dangerous. It may be the whole job; I can just see Pumpkin trying to ride his shoulders while he's mudding.

My boss didn't think I was being a jerk the past few days, so that's nice. And retired former sup/coworker had some really kind and empowering words in response to my personal note of farewell.

I have so much to do this weekend. Gotta greatstuff some spots around the tub inside the walls where concrete got knocked loose, clear out some debris under tub, clear out LR, wrap a bunch of stuff in plastic (buy more plastic,) and maybe go buy paint, cause I'll be doing that bit myself. Though not until next weekend at soonest.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was worried that my longtime favorite alley cat had been run over the other day, but a neighbor showed me a picture and the victim was a different color. Unless it was the long-vanished mom of my two cats I think all the locals are safe. I was trying to lure the half-grown kitten into being petted with a can of cat food tonight and all the adults except the one I was worried about materialized as if by magic.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Suzi, I'm glad the ball rolling is under way. You deserve recognition and a raise.

Matt, It's hard giving your heart to alley cats. I hope your fave shows up soon.
