Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oy, Rebecca.

Totally different family oy, brenda.

On my day off, I bought makeup and went for a long walk, and now I'm lying on the hammock with a full face of makeup. As one does.

Ok. Just got off the phone with my boss. First both he and his boss wanted to see if I was looking to leave the group. I guess getting a Project Management degree threw them. Our project managers actually get paid a bit less than project controls folks. I explained that I wanted the broader view and understanding of Project Management so I can supplement my current skill set and advance within our group.

Anyway, they both support a raise and grade change. Now that they understand my intentions better, they will start the process. And approve my tuition reimbursement request. So - it is happeneing, not sure when or how much...but progress. WOOT!!! Good news on a Friday.

Bonus - K-Bug and I are going to see Beauty and the Beast on stage tonight. I've never seen the stage version before.

Our wings are not tired.

Seconding the Oy! Except for SuziQ, for which I say Woo!

Watching the Ali funeral stuff on delay basis. Some nice speeches.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Great news, Suzi!

Our medieval dance group is playing the Maryland Faerie Festival tomorrow. We have an hour-long set at 1, and a shorter set at 4:30. It's supposed to get up in the 90s tomorrow. Oy...

Stay hydrated, Sheryl.

Thanks folks. I really appreciate the support and encouraging words. Advocating for myself was rough but once I got the ball rolling, it has been easier with each discussion. I definitely borrowed courage from y'all even if you didn't know it at the time.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go Suzi!

Oh no, I'm afraid I'm allergic to my new front yard. This morning, I was super sneezy and snuffly in the living room (with open window), but I thought it was probably dust and a sign I should clean. Then I went out to trim the remaining bushes, and it was a disaster of blowing my nose on my t-shirt, so I thought it was in the air. Then I went about the rest of my day and was fine. Now I'm back in the living room again and sneezy and snuffly again. Oy.

Coding and Sleeping

That's awesome Suzi!

I'm waiting on my Mac to finish something before I can leave work. It's going slower than usual which I suspect may be because it's getting too hot.
