He's more or less ok, FTR. Or seems so. He couldn't call us because his phone was in the car, but he has a 911 Alert button from the VA that he did not press because...I don't even know. Figured someone would be by sooner or later, as best I can tell.

Oh god, Brenda, that's so frustrating and scary. And frustrating! Brenda's dad, use your 911 button! Keep your phone ON YOU! (Pretty sure my dad leaves his cell phone in the truck, and Tim's dad doesn't even own one any more. Tim's dad also has a lifeline button, but he won't wear it even though he has a history of falling.)
Brenda, the mind boggles...
Argh, Brenda, that's so awful and frustrating.
I've mentioned Mom waiting until after 6pm to let me know she'd gone to the cardiac care unit with chest pains because she didn't want to interrupt me at work, right? Sometimes I just don't understand how elderly parents approach medical problems.
We've told him that the rule is he must call us any time there is a police officer, an ambulance, a hospital or ER, or any combination of the three. (All three this time eventually, not to mention the time he drove his pickup over his foot a year ago). And press the damn button!
I am not optimistic.
Oh, man, brenda. Parents!
I'm having chicky-chicky-parm-parm for lunch. I might be more excited about having the opportunity to say that than actually eating it.

I just watched that episode a couple of days ago. It's good for my mental health.
It is.
