Ann, that's a ferret.

is Trump immune from that same scrutiny?

He shouldn't be.

I think a lot of the original force behind the Trump and Sanders campaigns were the belief that the System doesn't work for most people, and we need a new System that does. The catch is, what should the new System be? And let us say, at the least, that Sanders and Trump have articulated very different visions of a new System.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That cat portrait is terrific! I never wanted a cat portrait before, but now I do.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that painting is fantastic.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Brain musings. First of all, I'm with Hillary, was all the way through the caucus process. My reasons had little to do with the fact that she is a woman. That fact was a side bonus.

All over my various feeds, everyone has been going on and on about her being the presumptive nominee, which fantastic - that is what I wanted - but concentrating only on the fact that she is a woman. As if that is the only reason many people voted for her. Which just feeds into the Republican narrative.

There is nothing I can say and it is likely just my own brain fritzing out on this. I just...am I alone?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had my yearly eye exam today. My streak is over- I need glasses. Right eye is basically normal, left eye is a bit weak.(20/50) I go back in a few weeks to determine my prescription. Ah, well...

Why does my brain keep trying to sing O Holy Night at me? What is that about?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Love the cat portrait

I flirted with voting for Bernie, no lie, which I think is why the shitty rhetoric that some of his backers spout makes me so upset. Like I just can't get as depressed about the crap Trump supporters claim to believe because I've come to expect it from the right, whereas the conspiracy theories/outright lies from the left depress me. I've spent the last month or so reminding myself of all the smart thoughtful lefties I know.

Punishingly Intricate

I never wanted a cat portrait before, but now I do.

Right?!? I would not have considered it until I saw this artist's work and learned he took commissions.

Why does my brain keep trying to sing O Holy Night at me? What is that about?

The kids outside my house were just singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. ?!
