I support ice cream especially if it's going to make people feel better. Alas, I doubt its curative powers over nausea... unless the nausea is a symptom of low blood glucose.... Gud, have you had enough to eat this morning?

Aw, Gud. Happy birthday to Leif and I hope you feel better right quick.

Facebook algorithm a little too on the nose there, eh, Jesse?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

JUST A LITTLE.

I would also like ice cream, but have had a donut and some chocolate instead. Good times. If I had been seeing more job postings I'd be interested in, I would seriously consider quitting without a new job.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Someone remind me to stop arguing with the guy who seems to be mansplaining mixed beers on Facebook. We get it: you think those of us who like a harmonized shandy aren't worthy beer drinkers.

But it's still pissing me off.

Also, stop bringing German beer into the equation. German beer ain't all that.

So not worth your time, PMM.

Now I want beer and a donut. THANKS

I have to work on my performance review too! Mostly to come up with goals for my new position. There's a list of recommended goals and I have to pick 2-3 and then come up with measurable ways to evaluate them. Which is the hard part. Also depressing: the goals that are pre-chosen, I've already failed at (it's not really my fault but still! I'm not used to being a 1 or 2 instead of a 4 or 5!)

Punishingly Intricate

One of the best parts of quitting my job last year and not having gotten another perm job yet is that I didn't have to write up a performance review this year!

Coding and Sleeping

I did have something to eat this morning and it made things worse. Still, not as bad as the day I had to pull over and throw up on my way to work.

Ugh. Performance reviews are not fun.

I feel beersplainer and I reached an accord on the awesomeness of some of our local breweries.

He's still wrong about shandy, though. (Or, more likely, we're actually talking past each other in terms of vocabulary.)
