Our wings are not tired.

This is probably not an ita-level link

sniff Oh, I think ita would be proud.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Consuela, what a tough day you have had.

Clicked the link.... decided reading the headline was sufficient....

Just wanted to point out that this:

Oh, I'm feeling impostery today. Found out I dropped the ball on something

May be related to this:

And the hospice nurse just called

You have a lot going on.

In other news, today FLEW BY, and not in a good way. I've been dealing with clusterfucky issues since 8am. My inbox is a disaster and I have no idea if anything happened in the world today.

Yeah, but there's still that bit where you start to groove before you remember how terrible it is.

This is what I'm saying! I forgot how good the music is.

Well, he did steal it from Marvin Gaye.

Thanks, folks. I'm doing okay, it's just... erg. I guess this is the new normal.

Anyway, I'm going to get a greasy burger and some fries, and I leave you with this awesome Karaoke in the Car with James Corden & special guests: [link]

Though I had mixed feelings about who to support in the primary, it's pretty awesome that the dems have the first female nominee for president.

Now, no pressure, but you have to win Hillary. I mean you really, really have to win.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

That Broadway Karaoke is the only thing that managed to get Hamilton out of my head. Because, frankly, "One Day More" is one hell of an earworm.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I guess this is the new normal.

Ah yes -- the motto of my support group was "Shitty is the new normal!"

Oh, for those of you keeping track at home: I contacted the compensation person in HR to ask for an list of salaries independent of what the budget office had. She forwarded my message to X in the budget office, who said, no, Y has those numbers (from whom I had a spread sheet already!), and Y sends a snippy email back to X to say, "I sent those to you on 6/2." Meanwhile I am waving my hands saying, No! I don't want the budget office numbers again!

Someone just send a shovel, cuz I'm going to have to bury the bodies.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My shovels are at your disposal. So to speak.

I am pretty satisfied with the election results I'm seeing, although one measure I supported did not pass, alas.

Eta: dang it, 2 measures if I'm reading the results right. Probably I should not try to do this on my phone.
