I hate telling people they have a massive bug in their code, but they should know that a field can't be a random Type-4 UUID if it matches over a hundred Type-4 UUIDs in another table. (A Type-4 UUID is a 128-bit value created from random data).

Yikes, meara! I don't know what that might be, but sounds alarming all right. I have had allergy attacks that started as a sensation like that, certainly, possibly the Zyrtec is keeping it from being worse but not quite defeating the reaction? If so, sounds like something in your system rather than topical, and maybe you've kept getting exposed?
I have been over being at work since before I came in this morning, but one of my co-workers made key lime pie so it's not all bad.

A customer today was unable to email several .mp3 files, most of which were 20mb in size, because of size issues. So they decided that attaching all the mp3 files to the project package and trying to upload through our program's upload process was the best option. But! Our system balked at the size of the files too. Our normal project files are 10-20 mb, and our servers handle a lot of traffic. But the customer didn't know why they couldn't upload nearly half a gig of data, and they were very put out that we were imposing limits on them. I wanted to tell them "We're not Google Docs."
meara, I get a random burning sensation sometimes on my arms and face. I think it's wacky hormones + caffiene. Maybe try switching to Benadryl, if that doesn't stop it, it's not an allergy?
Yikes, meara - that does sound like Something.
My team member who I think has the fewest number of active projects just came to me because she is overwhelmed and was hoping to get some help on something. I said no. And suggested she work late. Because now I am the worst (Burr).
You are the worst, Jesse. I feel kind of bad for the people on my team in my old job because I have rather high expectations for them based on what I know I could do...or what I believe I could do at least!
I will hit the pharmacy for a meds refill today anyway, so I'll pick up some Benadryl. Grr. I have no idea what I could be allergic to, I've never had any food or medication allergies?
I need an alibi for the author I'm about to murderize. He submitted a table that was far too wide (it had over 20 columns, which just won't work [also, man, you need to rethink how you present data in general because ain't nobody gonna read all that]). We told him it needs to be smaller and suggested he split it into 2 tables. He sent the 2 tables to me today, so I edited and formatted them, because they were brand new and hadn't been seen by us before.
I emailed to ask him a question about the article text (not the tables), and he replied with "I split the wrong table into 2, so I will send you the right tables later today."
I wasted an hour editing and formatting his stupid new stupid tables, and they weren't even correct??? And now I'm going to have to spend more stupid time editing and formatting his stupid new NEW stupid tables????
There is no emoji or meme for my level of rage right now.
I feel your pain, Steph. I spent a good amount of time last week documenting new features. Then I asked the developer a question about something, and she mentioned that oh yeah, the UI for that isn't final yet. Despite the fact that it's marked as done and tested. No, it's fine. I love taking new screenshots and rewriting stuff. I live for it.
ION, I'm hoping that Trump's thing with the judge in the Trump U case, and his utter refusal to back down from being an idiot and a racist, keeps snowballing. May this be the first step down the path of a humiliating loss.
