You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

Oh my gosh. Calling police on a six year old? Wtf? And Burrell, that sounds horrid, wow.

Why is it that the one morning I don't have an early meeting (tomorrow) is the morning that trash and recycling pickup is, and the trucks come through around 7am right outside my window? Sigh.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh, Kat and Burrell, that is all too much.

When I was in grad school there was a shooting. A failing grad student shot a professor during a final. I was across the street at the time and saw the distraught students from the class, followed by the shooter, come out of the building. This was... 1999 I think. And the only thing that has changed is the procedure for what happens after a shooting.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Unless the biting incident is playing out like a scene from Interview with the Vampire I'd say calling in the police is an indication that the school board should review its choice in administrative personnel.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm going to live on the edge and wear open-toed sandals to work today.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have to say, I'm pretty excited about seeing the Chicago touring cast in two years!

(Although maybe this will make it less of a Thing?)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Biting at 6 was something Mac would do. I am glad we are not there anymore.

I am sorry so many are having it so rough.

Kat, I hope y'all find some solutions.

I am clearly in full peri menopausal whatever. Not so much a cycle anymore as just a "guess". Nothing bad, but I am thinking we may want to test hormones. A 12+ day period a week after a 3 day period is not what I want from life. Make it go away will be my message to my pcp.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ha ha, my Hamilton tickets are mid-July. God, I hope all of the original cast doesn't leave.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dana, one of my friends saw it when her favorite cast member was out sick and says she came away realising that, as amazing as this cast is, the show is bigger than any of them.

Yeah, I know. I'd just rather not see it with a completely new cast. It's my fault anyway for not checking when the contracts were up.
