Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think that's a Texas thing, msbelle. Or a Southern thing. I might feel like a lazy lump but I'm The Flash compared to most Southerners.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My brother's MBA has sunk him into pretty crippling debt with little discernible impact on his career or salary.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Suzi, after seeing your post in several threads, why is it too late to put it in Press?

Just a friendly reminder that Press and Beep Me (I'd call this one Press) are really intended to avoid having to post across multiple threads.

I'd blame msbelle and her influence of thread hopping. Though really, I just went rouge. Sorry.

brillig

And car registration is renewed. Thank god for driving a maintained vehicle, so the yearly inspection isn't such a time of dread. And if we ever lose the Internet, government processes are going to be hell. Though it might help employment numbers, as all the departments and business have to hire people to handle mail and actual paper again.

Our wings are not tired.

My address and phone haven't changed in many moons.

Doing laundry so I can pack. Headed to Otter Lake for a week with DH. Not a great time of year to do this, but SIL has the long weekend off and was going to head there from NYC for dome time together. Complicated with DH needing to do something about his hernia, but that will have to wait until we get back.

Why is it that we have to work twice as hard both before and after a few days off? I'm tired out and haven't even left yet.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

There's this yellow orb in the sky. I'm not sure what it is :)

Sunny and warm today, what a concept. Supposed to be in the 80s all week, though thunderstorms are forecast for the end of the week.(Because =of course= they are.)
