Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Congrats, Noise Design!

I just got the peddle exercizer that is on sale at Aldi this week. It's little computer thingy says I peddled a half mile in the 27 minutes I used it, and burned 14 calories.

Yay.

I mean, yeah, I basically sat there like a lump, looking at Tumblr and Facebook, slumped in my chair rather than trying to sit up and engaging core muscles, so basically it was only my legs moving. Better than nothing I suppose, but only just barely. For sure I was not sweating or increasing my breathing rate.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Movement is movement.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I think that calorie estimate might be off.

I can feel impending soreness in my thighs. And if I concentrate on posture and form it could get even more valuable. Building core muscles would be gravy.

The beauty part was Harvey trying to get on my lap while I was peddling.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I have my fitbit set to sensitive sleep mode, because I knew it wasn't catching my bad nights. Now it looks like i get about 4 hours of sleep on average. Matt is on a business trip, so I was hoping it was catching Matt moving , but no. So maybe I sleep much more poorly than I like

Coding and Sleeping

Yay for the new business digs, ND!

Boo for the mold, Zen. But at least you know it's there now.

Today I discovered that the music player on my computer will pause if I place or get a call on my cell phone. I like it when software does something nifty and unexpected.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

You know what hurts all out of proportion to the size of the injury? A cat's claw piercing a thumbnail. I'm gonna have to stick to wand toys and throwing things from a distance.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

So, I'm thinking about going back to school for my Master's. I'm just not sure what I want to study. My father had suggested getting my MBA since I have a Bachelor's in Business Administration. But looking at various programs, I'm just not jumping at the idea of more accounting type classes. I think I have that concept down and I have a lot of experience. Right now, I'm looking at a program at Colorado State University for Project Management. I'm still open to other ideas and have scheduled time to talk with a couple of folks at work that have mentored me in the past.

I'm both excited and terrified at the idea. But since I started researching I haven't been able to let go of the general idea. I'm crazy. Right? I'm 48. I'm still paying off my student loans from my bachelor's .

The status is NOT quo.

Suzi, not crazy! I'm halfway through my second Masters right now and working one slow class at a time through the program, and I'm 41. I won't be done for two more years. Never too late for more education!
