That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My late cat was totally into Doritos. My current cat is obsessed with ice cream, but is willing to lick pretty much anything off my plate (after I'm done!).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Husband has second interview with Idaho (still by phone). shrift has brought to my attention that if this works out, my life is going to be full of potato-related humor.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My late Mr. Kitty loved broccoli (he once took some right out of the pan I was cooking in) and LOVED corn on the cob.

I've now gotten two recurring meeting requests, one at 5am and one at 6am. Fuck that noise. Sadly the 5am one is a company-wide training and I am just going to remain untrained. The 6am I emailed the organizer and was like "are you serious?" And he claimed he'd change it...but he hasn't, yet.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm thankful my company's founder is, like me, Not a Morning Person. And the president who was retired a few years ago, so all our important meetings are now mid-morning or later unless they're organized by clients rather than us.

I may grumble about last-minute changes reaching my desk at the end of the day, but at least I have the mental wherewithal to handle them then, unlike stuff hitting me first thing in the morning.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

fuck that noise is right, meara, yipes!

I am going to serve lunch to the faculty and staff at the middle school tomorrow. These teacher appreciation things always feel like the right thing to do mostly because I know how thankless teaching can be at times.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Recurring? Aw, hell to the no, meara.

This spud's for you, Dana.

I feel like I want a second cup of coffee more than I want the pound cake my coworker brought in, and I can't figure out if that is a good impulse or not.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

It's not even 11:30 and I have eaten half my lunch and am still hungry. Most days the earliest I eat lunch is 1pm. I am drinking water in an effort to stave off this hunger. I fear this is a result of me walking 5x my normal amount yesterday.

Also? I typed up half this post on my computer keyboard before I remembered I was on my phone (no buffistas on work computer, but can access it on work phone).

Coding and Sleeping

Well. I've got three reviews on Goodreads and three reviews on Amazon so far, all five-star. I'm sure I'm benefiting some from friendly reviewers (there are definitely better MG books out there), but it's still a nice start. I wanted to see if I could get a few reviews before trying to promote a bit more. I'm also trying to clear out tasks I need to do so I can have time to do more writing. My goal sales-wise is to break even with the cost of the cover-art which seems doable at some point.

That's nice, Gud!

I would be fairly unhappy with an 8am recurring meeting! Which is, I assume, how the 5am scheduler was thinking of it.

That's sweet.
