I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

Y'all are real people, right?

I'm not. Totally a computer simulation.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

We are real people and we are all going through menopause!

Ah ha ha ha ha! So true!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I kind of just want to rip my uterus out, because I am DONE with cramps. DONE.

I am still crossing my fingers that Mirena will eventually take care of this for me.

Y'all are real people, right?

I woke up with Wolverine hair this morning, so maybe not.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Y'all are real people, right?

I can't answer existential questions before coffee, sorry.

brillig

I'm 55, and my uterus still plays Duck, Duck, Goose with menopause. I'll go four or five months, then staining for a couple of days, just enough to remind me that the Lurker at the Gates is still in there . . . waiting . . .

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You know, I'm not sure I was a fan of this week.

Duck, Duck, Goose, that's exactly what it's like.

Oh, hey still haven't had coffee. Better fix that.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Can someone wordsmith this for me? I am trying to tell students in an online class how much work they should expect to do, but also not to panic if it doesn't take them that much time. Is that clear?

As you plan your time, remember that each module is set up to be about a week's worth of class. A standard 4 credit class has about 4 hours a week in class, plus 4 - 8 hours of "homework". In an online class, this means an average person can expect to spend approximately 8 - 12 hours per module. Please note that since you work at your own pace, this could vary from person to person and module to module based on reading speed and prior knowledge you may have.

Sounds clear to me, Sophia.

Ah, sweet sweet caffeine. Confidence level in my own reality, rising.

My main takeaway from that article, btw, is that some people are jerks. Which I guess I knew, but still.

Unrelatedly: dear other department, you do not get to ignore my request for over a week and then cite "short lead time" as a reason why you can't do what I asked. Well, you can go ahead and do that, obviously, but it will piss me off. Grr.
