Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Will join all the Buffistas who are tired of all the rain. (Luckily, I don't have allergies.) Not helping my mood any, I tell ya.

Dana, I've heard really good things about Boise, actually. And Coeur dAlene is gorgeous. But...yeah.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

since getting home:

take dried clothes to room
check mail/take to recycling
feed animals
clean litter
sweep kitchen
wash dishes in sink
put away dishes on drier
make coffee for iced coffee in morning
start container of cold brew for rest of week
put pork loin in to cook
make caprese salad
enter food for day for calories
get mad at self/refrain from eating cookies
catch up on internet

It is not even 7 yet, clearly I could do more (list to follow), but all I want to do is sit and consume media.

could do:

daily squats
vacuum living room (it's been over a week)
sweep living room (also over a week)
mop kitchen
pack lunch for tomorrow
put away toiletries in bag on kitchen floor
do a load of laundry
fold and put away dried clothes I took to room

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

My meetings started at 9am and the last one ends at 6:30pm, so I'm not getting home until after 8pm and nothing is getting done except for what I need to set up for tomorrow morning.

I have culling clothes on my To Do list since there's a Goodwill donation drop at my office tomorrow, but who knows if that actually will happen.

Boise's quite nice. Vibrant arts scene (my friend there is active in the arts, theater and dance community, as well as local politics, and she's a lefty.) but it does do Winter.

My headache progressed to blurred vision due to the pain being so sharp, focusing my right eye was too much. But I had a meeting I couldn't miss, so I just unfocused on the tabletop the whole time. And someone tried to commit my swim time. Uh, no. My role isn't that critical and if you're accomodating other people's family schedules, you can accommodate mine. I'm not going to be your sacrificial SINK workhorse.

God I love this city. An innocent man finally was exonerated and walked free, there was a real penguin at a bar that was serving beer named after it and raising $ for its cause and Laura Lippmann is threatening to fictionally muderize a delivery service over cold dinner. And everyone seems to be losing their minds over the rain.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Still no shelves.

When I got home from work, I went to sleep for 40 minutes. Argh. So tired. And I cut my cable, so I'm reduced to listening to the Warriors game.

Coding and Sleeping

You know, the worst thing about Trump may be that he's making the media think Ann Coulter is relevant again. Look, in a twisted way I admire her ability to make a living by just saying crazy shit, but c'mon media she's just a person saying crazy shit to make money and adds nothing meaningful to the national conversation.

At least someone like Bill Crystal brings something useful by being reliably wrong every single time. I could set a clock by that man and know for absolutely certain what time it isn't.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Right, game. Let's see what I can do about that.

I went from work to buy gas and then to buy cat food and that was next to a Trader Joe's and I had a little time so I made some groceries, and then Tai Chi [Cloud Hands through Golden Rooster Standing on One Leg, intense class] and just got home. Fed critters. I think that's gonna have to do it for today.
