I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Leave msbelle alone, weather!

Hope it's nothing, msbelle.

T, what time were you having to be in before?

I feel like now that I have a pretty regular schedule I need to arrange things to do after 4pm, so I don't just goof off for three or so hours and realize it's past dinner time.

In other exciting news: the frozen custard place that closed while I was on vacation (!!!) reopened under new owners!! And I had some yesterday and it was just as delicious as ever.

Glad there's not more work for you.

The pollen, or I guess the particulates and mildewy moldy things are doing me in this spring; I don't feel sick, I just have epic snot, which wrecks havoc on a variety of systems, not just the breathing one. Weird ones. Like my joints. And I'm really over the random itches and breakouts.Anyway.

Thinking of stapling a sheet over my gaping ceiling holes. Getting tired of reinforcing tape.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Stay safe, Texas peeps!

So maybe the next time I get a 50% on a homework someone could explain how to solve the problems.

Let me guess: you did explain, in class, since more than one person got it wrong, plus made yourself available for office hours. Which asshat skipped. I've had that student on occasion, only the writing equivalent isn't "explain what I did wrong" (ie, write the correct answer directly on the paper since I can't be expected to apply knowledge), it's "grades were totally subjective, she only gave good grades to writing that she thinks is good."

OMG dinner is so good! I made a salad of bok choy, carrots, apples, cucumber, cilantro, peanuts, chicken, and a spicy dressing. Only problem is I promised Cody there would be some for him when he got home.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

No joke, this was the quote in the upper corner just now.

She just... she just did the math.

7-3:30, meara. And it was nice being off work that early, but it kind of doesn't matter when I am tired from working and don't want to do anything anyway. There are no conveniently timed classes at my gym to take advantage of, it's the hottest part of the day in the summer, movies don't seem to start around then, many restaurants are closed. Mostly, I feel like I am more able to accomplish things in the morning than in the afternoon/evening and it would be nice to use some of that for myself rather than all for work.

We'll see how it goes.

she only gave good grades to writing that she thinks is good

Huh. How about that?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Another student says that I had a personal bias against him or her, because this person frequently corrected me in class, and that I took it out on them by giving lower grades on quizzes. The evaluations are anonymous, and I honestly have no clue who wrote that. I can't recall any student in particular correcting me frequently in class, and when a student did correct me, I would say, "Oh, you're right. Thanks for pointing that out." Because of course I make mistakes sometimes, and if someone corrects me, then my thought is usually, "Oh, good, they're actually paying attention."
