NYC-istas, if I were planning a weekend in NYC with a friend, and most of our plans were going to centre on Manhattan...is it best to AirBnB in Manhattan or are there neighbourhoods in Queen's or Brooklyn that are just as accessible?

Oh, you guys, Tim found Toke dead this morning. She was 15 or 16, but was the only pet that wasn't on meds for something. She hadn't shown any overt signs of illness, although the past 2 days she hadn't eaten much, and then she spent part of Tuesday and Wednesday hiding in the basement -- but she's done that in the past. So we have no idea what happened.
Man, I loved that cat so much. First thing in the morning when I sat down to work, she always came over and laid on me. Except for yesterday and today. My big fat kitty.
Fuck this fucking year.
