I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do get neighbor cats coming through the yard now and then, and raccoons and opossums and whatnot. I think it would probably be best to keep Miss Kitty inside, and it would not be terrible to keep the other cats inside (well, they might think it terrible, but we could probably work something out) but then there's Walter and he and I are both much happier when he has access to the backyard on demand. I can't think of any way to restrict access to ANYTHING to the dog if the cats want it.

The word on Miss Kitty is "she 'wants' to be an outdoor cat, but since her original owner declawed her, my friend won't let her outside" which makes me think any measures I take are going to be complicated. If I can think of any.

But now I have my heart set on her.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just read that in his letter of support, Tom Delay called Dennis Hastert his "right hand man".

Can we set them on fire? Both of them?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Sounds fair to me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, I just got some art from the same place. [link]

Ooh, pretty. That site has a lot of good art!

I just read that in his letter of support, Tom Delay called Dennis Hastert his "right hand man". Surely I'm not the only one to question this phrasing in this context.

Yikes. ("Are we still saying 'phrasing'?" - Archer)

Oh yeah, that would be tricky.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Can you build one of those outdoor enclosed cat patios? Put some chicken wire between her and danger but let lizards and bugs in?

Punishingly Intricate

I'd love to have a space like this for my cats!

Actually, maybe I could slap something workable together. The "cat window" opens onto the covered patio, so maybe I throw some chicken wire around some of the supports? I'll have to take a look when I get home. Thanks, Zen! Problem not quite solved, but at least there's an avenue to explore.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

As it turns out, stuff got wrapped up early at Gary's meeting, so he will be home tonight. Yay!
