When they get the invite, don't they have the option of responding with something like "that's not a good time how about [some other time]"? I haven't used Outlook in a while.
Yes, there is a "propose other time" option. But then there are other people...
My boss is one of those people who ignores emails until we get down to the crunch time and then asks what's going on, why hasn't he seen anything about this, why is this being sprung on him suddenly (in the most recent case about five weeks after) ... which is why I keep a backlog of emails received and sent, records of things I've sent him he's ignored, etc.
Timelies all!
We're going to my MIL's house for the seder. So, the little guy will be surrounded by all the grandparents.
But some people - like those here - can be the best!
Yes- I think I am just grumpy. I am sure she is irritated with me, because her boss's schedule is her primary job and meeting scheduling is literally 3% of my job. Her boss is a much bigger wig than mine!
If it's her primary job, then she should be able to properly use the tools provided!
I really like this lady, though. I don't think it is a weird power play like some of the other people who do it. But seriously, if the wants people to email/call first, then hide her schedule at least.
Then there are the assistants that want you to put them on the meeting request" even though they are a delegate! Or the people who put me on the meeting request when they want my boss- I have shown up for a few meetings I wasn't invited to!
Apparently I have deep seated feelings about meeting schedules!
