It is so nice, weather-wise, in Utah. I'm afraid to look at the forecast at home. I don't want to be disappointed.
In the saga of our tree, a neighbor had someone out to clear the branches from her tree and they picked up our broken branches for no extra charge. I still need someone to come and trim some of the raw branches and there is one large limb I think needs to come down. Will coordinate that tomorrow.
I know my current car won't last forever(2000 Corolla with 122,000 miles on it), but I haven't even thought about what kind of car I want to replace it.
Clearly, the doof wagon from Mad Max: Fury Road.
Loki turned on the radio around 3 am and changed the time. Do you know how hard it is to reset a clock at 3 am? And then a full day of meetings and recriminations and I brought the laptop home and I can't bear to open it.
<engaging>I have a mazda2. </engaging>
Woke up with vertigo again this morning. Argh. So I went even deeper into negative numbers on my sick leave by taking the morning off. I was able to drive to the office, but I only got a few things done. Bleargh.
Now home, with some ginger beer and peanut-butter toast for dinner.
Oy, Suela, you are having a time of it! Hope the ginger beer helps.
Long time no natter.
I discovered this afternoon that the property I rent my apartment from is being forclosed on pet a constable stopping by. No word from landlady.
I have no lease. She is not paying the mortgage. I don't know how much or little time I have to find a new home.
Any advice or resources I can look into? My first reaction is that I'll stop paying rent since she's obviously pocketing all the rent instead of putting it towards my apartment.
First thought, put it in escrow. Then research local renters rights.
Do you know how hard it is to reset a clock at 3 am?
How hard can it be if Loki knows how to do it?
2000 Corolla with 122,000 miles on it
Our 2000 Echo has 150,000 miles on it, which is why we finally busted out the savings and bought the Corolla.
