Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

Librarian Warlord

You couldn't plan that if you tried.

But he can't escape the computers.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wow, that's impressive, both of them.

The status is NOT quo.

My friend's husband finished at 3:23, which is stupid fast, but it's about 40 minutes off his PR. Pretty sure he is injured.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is so weird about the weather, Sue. My mom's Fitbit always says she's gone much farther than she really has, like the 5k we did on Saturday it recorded as 4 miles and change, even after setting her stride length.

Break for "lunch" at 945am, after starting at 6am?

Reasonable. I try to break for lunch at 11 after starting at 7.

I am amazed by the marathoners times. People who aren't me sure can run fast for a long time!

Hah--they're still running twice as fast as me. My marathon time would probably be six or more hours. I'm hoping to be under 2:45 half marathon but not sure it'll happen!

I actually was coming in her to say: I think I need to bring in a tape measure to see what is 20 feet away from me for me to look at when it's time to give my eyes a break. And maybe put something decorative there, if I can. Trying to eyeball it, as it were, does not fill me with confidence. Not that precision is really needed, but I like precision.

Just what I was thinking, meara! Although I imagine I would slow down even from my usual slow pace over that distance.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My marathon time would be about four DAYS because I don't see walking more than about six miles in a day, even if it's from theme park attraction to theme park attraction.

Punishingly Intricate

My marathon time was something like 7 hours--partially because I'm naturally slow and, also, my friend and I did 2 minute walk/run splits the whole time. Also, it was at Disney so we stopped and took our picture at all the mile markers with the characters cheering us on (or, in the case of the Animal Kingdom bit, stopping to take a picture of my friend "racing" the giant tortoise). Good times!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am guessing I would take close to 8 hours.
