I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Hi Becky!

dcp- that sound like being in college dorms again. Not fun!

It is only 63 here, but I feel like it is 100 degrees. I am so sick of being hot! It's not like hot flashes, I am just constantly really, really hot. Sometimes I steam up my glasses!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yipes dcp! I agree that you deserve a refund or points or something. Carbon monoxide alerts are not your fault. Hope the rest of the day makes up for the early start.

Argh! Left my Fitbit at home. Now nothing I do counts.

No, it means everything counts as much as you think it should! Or at least that's how it works in my head. My DH and I both use the Fit app on our phones, only his phone credits him every step whereas my phone decides that the same amount of time walking around isn't 'exercise' because it can tell it all happened in the same space, like say our house or the mall. But I say if my DH got 30 minutes of exercise walking around Ikea then so did I. My phone is not the boss of me!

Um, I may have issues.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Not only am I stuck at home and unable to get to the doctor, or even get in touch with the doctor, I had to call in to a super boring conference call, by phone, so I can't see the screen everyone is discussing.

So tired. I had to get up for Reasons at 3 AM and didn't get back to bed till 4. I slept well and comfy till 7, but three hours was not sufficient to make up for the break. Blah.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My Fitbit kind of is the boss of me. But I lack discipline on my own. That's weird how y'all get recorded differently - I would be pretty unreasonable about that, I suspect.

I could turn on the step counter functionality of my phone, I suppose, but I also have no pockets. It is hard being me today. Or maybe very easy, if looked at from a certain angle. In any case, I'm not going to be able to get my 250 steps/hr during my 3 hour meeting, so maybe it's better to have another excuse to write off the day exercise-wise (until I get home, anyway).

I went to London with a friend who was 8 inches taller than me. I regularly had about 1K more steps recorded, as I had to compensate for my short legs.

Also, we would regularly check the weather app on our iPhones, hers a 6, mine a 5, and we'd be standing right next to each other, and be getting ever so slightly different weather reports/forecasts. Like the current temperature would be off by one degree, or my phone would have a rainy icon for tomorrow and hers would have showers. We decided we were travelling in paralell, but slightly off dimensions.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I couldn't fall asleep until about 4. I'm fortunate that since I work from home I could sleep a little longer, until 9, but I feel like a zombie right now. In fact, I think a zombie would do a better job editing that I can. Sheesh. Plus I feel a sleep-deprivation migraine trying to start.

I also didn't sleep last night, but today's my day off. I'm pretty sick of this nagging cough that's keeping me awake. I know it's getting better, but I want it gone.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I need to wake up. I was okay with a sleepy lazy weekend, but I'm not okay with a sleepy zombie Monday. I'm drinking green tea with ginseng, maybe that's not a good enough substitute for coffee for awakeness.

I kept waking up and thinking it was almost time to get up, and having nightmares that I overslept. Stupid 6am meeting. Three days this week I have 6am, and the other two I have 8am. So much for thinking working from home would mean I'd be able to go dance or something!
