Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

Hi Becky! And hi Fiona!!

I think a lot of the fancy hotels let you have free wifi if you're a member of their program. Or if you're an elite member. But if I'm in the US I'd rather use my phone than pay for wifi. Ew.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh good lord, I just spent a minute or two trying to think how Terence Howard could be in The Empire Strikes Back. Maybe I should have coffee before trying to use my brain further.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sure, but what if I need to use my computer for stuff??

I basically finished my to-do list before 10 this morning, so am feeling good! I need to get the laundry out of the dryer and pack, but that's about it.

Ha! Coffee sounds right.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yeah, Kimpton hotels give you free wifi if you join their program, but it's still bullshit. I gotta say, I'm a big fan of Holiday Inn Express, with their free wifi and free big-ass continental breakfast. (Though the Kimpton I stay at in Chicago does have a wine hour every day, so there's that.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

IME most corporate rates include wifi as part of the package, so it's also "free" for business travelers, who are a more reliable income source than tourists.

Interesting -- I haven't had that experience, but I'm probably not booking anything on a corporate rate.

Hi!

Happy Birthday Sheryl

Suzi, I live in Lakewood, 285 and Kipling area. Across from the prison so my claim to fame is having some famous criminals as my neighbors.

Preferential voting has its places, never had a muffallets (yet), in theory I'm for the serial comma although in writing it doesn't always show. (Grammar is not my strong suit, but I try)

-t If you are getting money back then I vote taxes, if not attack that lawn before it gets too hot.

To mothers of boys:

At what age did you trust them to go into a public restroom by themselves? I understand there are situations where the child is going to need help, but I'm getting tired of school-aged boys in the women's rest room because their mothers keep all their kids herded together and/or they don't trust their kids farther than arm's reach. The boys don't look any happier about it than I am, and I can't help think that this whole "bathrooms for the right gender only!" thing is going to poke its ugly head in.
