Burrell, I mostly meant "go through and get rid of a lot of clothes". I already have a pile that needs to be dragged to Goodwill. But now that I'm working from home I don't need business clothes and figure I should ditch most of them, and also rearrange where I keep things?

Saw my father, went to a funeral for another guy from the nursing home, and now I just want to do nothing. Which I think is OK, really.
Timelies all!
Have had a busy day. While Gary's mom looked after the little guy, we had lunch, did early voting(Gary will be out of the state when the actual primary is), picked up prescription refills and did grocery shopping(both for the week, and for the birthday party/housefilk tomorrow)
Did much cleaning when we got back. Gary's dad and stepmom are coming over soon so Gary can take me out for my birthday. When we get back, there is laundry to do.
Yay Gud, glad to see you are having a good day. As counted blessings go, an amazingly great job is pretty dang great
Went up to Capay for the Spring Tour and 5k at the farm that delivers me produce bi-weekly. The run was a nifty way to see the farm, went by fields in various stages of growing different things including boxes of bees doing their thing, and then there were delicious tacos and chocolate flan and iced coffee and honey tasting and a Q&A with the farmer (and a marketing guy? That doesn't seem right based on what he was saying. Something businessy) followed by a brief walk with irrigation system explication. Super interesting! Now I am tired. It's still a beautiful day and I should probably be outside doing something but I might just go lie down for a while.
Catching up...
I think maybe if you don't watch much TV, and don't live in a big city surrounded by advertising all the time, it would be possible to miss GoT and a lot of other modern pop culture?
I missed a lot of pop culture growing up because my family didn't have cable*. Not just the shows themselves, but the kinds of ads that were run on cable were different than the ones run on network TV, so there was a lot of stuff I was just never exposed to (and didn't know I was missing, because I didn't have enough friends to fill me in, until I got to middle school and realized I'd missed out on a LOT of the 80s).
*Typing that, I realized that we also don't have cable now, but since the internet exists it's not such a big deal anymore.
I should Kondo before we move. 9 years in this apartment means we've accumulated a ton of stuff that doesn't spark joy.
Yeah, any of those HBO shows are easy to miss if you aren't paying attention to pop culture, even if you're watching network TV.
I guess what struck me is missing the GOT hype while also being the kind of person with enough curiosity to ask a stranger about their shirt.
As of Tuesday, I will have had this migraine for two weeks. On Monday, I'm calling the neurologist's office to see when they can work me in, but I imagine the next steps will be an MRI, IV meds, or both. I wish this fucking thing would go away on its own.
I also know this is nothing compared to what ita went through, but it's scary remembering her experience.
