That house, Rebecca!! Oy. There are lots of wee single houses like that scattered throughout the city and I always wonder if they are really their own house or actually attached to the neighboring lot.
I NEED to grade today AND I have kid home with a fever, plus a cranky husband because he's been working too hard. Must find my place of Zen and just work, but feeling OY!

Sue that is an idea if they can find something. Most of the options I've seen with guest houses are either in rough shape or the guest house is a studio. I could do a studio, but it would be a lot to go from 1600 ft sq to like 300.
Fours years is ways off for me to still decide on a new location. Who knows, I may go abroad.

I keep meaning to ask you - my parents are visiting Halifax this summer, are there any can't miss places they need to get to that wouldn't be on a tour (they're taking some kind of package tour for like a week and then renting a car and doing their own thing for another)? Especially vegan/vegan-friendly restaurants. And quilt shops.

Are they just doing Halifax? Or more of the province.
